Daniel Bierman Since the age of 15, Owner and Founder Dan Biermann knew he loved residential design. Dan worked along side his father, who was a developer, as a designer until he attended college to study architecture. Dan absolutely knew that he had a natural talent to design beautiful homes. He continued his design studies and started working at residential design firms. In 1990 Dan decided to open his own firm and in 1995 created Design Studio with his partner, Cheryl Hochstatter. Since Cheryl’s retirement, Dan continues Design Studio’s tradition of creating spectacular home designs with professionalism and flare.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Dan has successfully designed projects ranging from kitchen and bath remodels to custom homes in Los Altos, Palo Alto,  Redwood City, Woodside, San Mateo, San Carlos, Burlingame, and throughout the Peninsula.
